Courses: Personal Enrichment: Arts

Portraits & Faces in Color For Artists and Craftspeople [02180] Anyone can learn these fun and easy basic and advanced techniques for drawing and painting faces on 2D and 3D surfaces in color with paints, color pencils, ink and more. Learn how to prepare the surfaces and different projects. We will cover the basics of step by step facial proportions at different ages, male and female, and how to portray lifelike character with facial expressions. There will be many inspirational examples and samples to view in class. Students please bring items such as gourds, wood, fabric or collages to practice on. Please bring a sack lunch. Note A $25 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.
