This will be the 22nd Annual Festival of the Cranes at Bosque del Apache near Socorro. This is the largest event held in Socorro County each year, and attending will enable us to watch the cranes and other birds with expert, Steve Cox. We'll take in the Holiday Festival of the Cranes Crafts Show (located inside a historical 19th century opera house in Socorro) on the way to the Bosque, so come prepared to do some holiday shopping. Fee includes a boxed lunch, tour guide, and transportation.
