The origins and development of psychology are intimately invested in the heritage of the occult.  We’ll delve into the occult origins of depth psychology and its consequences, such as Jungian psychology, the theory of archetypes, and the embrace of modern psychology by various influential occult figures.  It continues with a full survey of classic and contemporary research spanning the range between occult psychology and the scientific psychology of the occult, including such specialized topics as parapsychology, “anomalous psychological processes,” altered states of consciousness, and deviance, including the much-sensationalized “Satanic Ritual Abuse” and demonic possession claims of various conspiracists.
