Did you know that Albuquerque sits in the middle of a huge rift zone where the Earth's crust has pulled apart, and where volcanic eruptions and mountains have arisen?  Here is your chance to explore tent rocks, lava flows, fossils, and more!  Work alongside an experienced geologist in labs at UNM and in the field in the Sandia Mountains and the Jemez Mountains.  Unlock your interests in Planetary and Earth Science through this unique program which is a part of the UNM Lobo Learning Launch focused on college and career exploration.
