Robotics Construction - Beginning (ages 8-12)

This camp will provide an overall introduction to robotics and building. It is suitable for all levels of experience for students 8-12. Students will work in groups to build their team robot as well as learn about programming in Easy C. Teams will design, construct, test, and re-design their robots using the Engineering Design Process.  Faced with a variety of real-life challenges, they will actively develop their problem solving skills. Using their robots to conquer the challenge, students will learn the importance of thinking scientifically, teamwork, time management and the power of the Engineering Design Process. Ultimately, character and relationships will be built over the common and powerful experience of this STEM building experience.
