Introduction to Homeopathic Medicine

This course will present a brief history of homeopathy, a world-wide medical system which has existed for more than 200 years. We will discuss the basic principles of homeopathic treatment, how homeopathic medicines are made, and how to safely and accurately use them for common, acute illnesses.

This 6-week course will be useful adjunct knowledge for health care professionals, as well as helpful information for anyone interested in adding homeopathic medicine to their self-care regimen. Recommended textbook: 
Everybody's Guide to Homeopathic Medicines (1997) 3rd Edition, Cummings, S. & Ullman, D. ISBN-13: 978-0874778434. Student purchases from a vendor of their choice.

NOTE: The day of the week is incorrect in the Fall Catalog. This class will meet on Wednesdays, beginning October 4.
