The Healthy Herbal Garden for control of sun, water, wind & pests

This hands-on workshop helps you navigate the perils of summer to realize a bountiful herb harvest. Learn simple, effective techniques for pest, wind, and sun protection, plus irrigation techniques that will keep your garden healthy. Practice these techniques at the Village of Los Ranchos’s Agri-Nature Center's herb garden, and take away worksheets to implement in your garden. Generously co-sponsored by the Village of Los Ranchos and class held at the Center on Rio Grande Blvd. Instructors, Zoe Wilcox and Melanie Rubin, Co-Authors of  "The Home Farming Revolution for Drylands," ask you to wear sunscreen and hat, bring water bottle and garden gloves.

NOTE: A materials fee of $15 will be collected by the instructors for the sunshade you will make & take in class. This course is co-sponsored by the Village of Los Ranchos, Agri-Nature Center.
