« back to classes page
This Bicycle Mechanics Course is designed to teach basic skills to the novice and advanced cyclists that want to learn basic bicycle care. This is a great class to help you become more self-sufficient with your bike, learning to properly clean the bike, clean and lube the chain, make minor adjustments, and to change, repair, and make the tires thorn-resistant.

NOTE: This course is the first part of a certificate course #10653. A materials fee of $15 is payable to the instructor at the first class.

Please bring a familiar bike that you ride regularly to class to work on, NOT a "project" bike.

Basic tools, lubes, cleaners, etc. and several work stands are provided, if you wish to practice with your own tools, you may bring them.
