Can a substance be benign or even beneficial for some individuals and poisonous to others? Is it true that the dose makes the poison? In this session we’ll explore the basics of toxicology and talk about how so-called poisons have been used and mis-used in fiction, like Agatha Christie's novels. The instructor was a professor of biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
