« back to classes page
Much is written about battles such as Custer’s defeat at the Little Bighorn and Wounded Knee, but little is offered about other major clashes between the First Nations people of the west and the US Government. We'll cover Little Bighorn and First Wounded Knee, but also explore information and details about lesser known confrontations, such as Rosebud, the Fetterman fight, Washita, Sand Creek, Bear River, and Battle of the Big Hole. We’ll watch and discuss several short film clips and explore factors that started the wars.
